Testing, testing
Mum's been thinking of buying a digital camera so she borrowed one from Riitta in order to test if it's really what she needs. We're going to take some pictures of me for our Christmas cards, but first mum just wanted to find out how it really works. Here's a few test shots. And in case you didn't notice, I love everything with tomatoes in it...
And here, at last, my first teeth can be seen by the whole world!
And its not just the teeth that we managed to catch on film. Suddenly I stood up in the crib (my great-grandfather slept in it over a hundred years ago) that mum was using as a prop for the photos! This was my first time ever. How lucky can you get to have a camera shooting you right that moment...

Anna's christening
Today we drove to almost the Russian border to join in the christening of my baby cousin at her maternal gransparents' home in Lappeenranta.
Meet Anna Saara Aurora and her mum Tuija
Everyone said it was a lovely ceremony, but I must say I enjoyed playing with Anna's other cousins Ida and Wilma a lot more than all the standing around and what not.

House warming in Lahti
Outi & co have been inviting us over for a long time now and now we finally made it; right on time for their house warming party. Lovely flat, lovely party! And at last we were able to congratulate my god mother Seliah for her 18th birthday (which she'd celebrated back in September while I was recuperating from my operation). Here's also mums godson Don joining in the fun.
Seliah was trying her hand out in a bit of match making as she'd decided to wed me off to her cousin's son and I must say Jesse and I had a lot of fun together. The rest remains to be seen...

Nette's visit
Today Janette came to play with me. She's 11 months older than I am and has BCLP (bilateral cleft lip and palate for the uninitiated) just like me. She had her lip and soft palate fixed when she was 4 months old and will have her palate closed in a few weeks time. And yet she can already say all the difficult consonant (PTK...) and even drink with a straw! Things all the text books say are impossible. So who knows what I can do next spring...
